Miranda Carter completed her Masters’s in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2016. Prior to that, she obtained a Bachelor in Health Sciences degree from Mount Royal University in 2014. She is certified in dry needling (Level 1 and 2 Kinetacore) and is a certified Pain Truth Health Care Provider (treatment for clients with Chronic Pain).
Miranda has worked with diverse client populations in private clinics, as well as working in a school setting with children with developmental delays and disabilities. Her treatment style incorporates manual therapy and/or dry needling, individually tailored therapeutic exercise programs, and thorough education to empower you to know more about your own body and make the positive changes to help your body feel and function better. She is passionate about helping her clients achieve, and even surpass their goals for better health, and return to sport, hobbies, and regular life.
Outside of the clinic, Miranda loves weightlifting, hiking, reading, baking, photography, and hanging out with her husband and son. Born and raised in Calgary, she loves exploring the city and finding local coffee shops, restaurants, and parks.
